Thankful Thursday

What am I thankful for? Well let me see..I'm thankful for SOOO much!

First and foremost, I'm thankful for the Lord up above. I don't think I could make it some days without him. He is there for us in so many ways that I just can't fit into this blog post. He is the light when everything is dark. And when you get lost you can always count on him to guide you through.

I'm thankful for my wonderful Husband Jay. One of the things that attracted me to him was how much drive and ambition he has for life. He works very hard and tries to make everyday in our life better than the last.
♥ You Baby.

I'm thankful for my kids. Yes, I will admit they are a handful at times, but there MY kids. They all have their own BIG personalities. The keep me on my toes and I could not imagine my life without them. Me? With no kids? Pssh! Yeah right!

And I'm thankful for family ♥ They have helped me and Jay so much even before we were married. I cannot thank them enough for all the support, love, wisdom and the occasional recipes..they give

Get Motivated!

As a stay at home Mom, I have found it VERY hard to get motivated lately! My candle biz is going at a good pace so not so hard finding motivation there, but as far as laundry, cooking and cleaning goes well, thats another story. I don't think there is enough coffee in the world that will jump start me on that! lol I want the kiddos to have fun with there Mommy! Not come home from school to a tired one.

SO my question is to you..What gets YOU motivated?

blogging for sanity

Yep, thats me..blogging for sanity. Tucked away in my bedroom with the doors shut (and locked) trying to get a little mommy "me time". Thats quite hilarious in some way because while I'm in here all I can think about it how the kiddos are probably destroying the once clean house. My hubby is off today, but of coarse is off in la la land (spike T.V) not paying a bit attention to what they are doing. I know men have the drown out ability, but jeez! The constant "Mama, he won't let me play the game, it's my turn" or "Mama, he won't help clean up the room" keeps me on my toes to the point of insanity! I love the phrase read on another Mama Blog "I'm ganna miss this"..So I hang on to that when it gets real tough. I love my boys with all my heart and sometimes being the only Lil' Woman in a house full of men has it's perks. I think we just need a vacation! But, the rant is over. Duty calls...lol

Meet the lil' Woman

Hey all! I've decided to create a new blog and devote it solely to my wonderful family...5 Boys, One Man and the Lil' Woman that somehow survives to share our stories. Well, this is me!







Am I what you expected? This picture was taken by my wonderful Husband while I was outside taking candle pics..Please excuse the pulled back sloppy hair and cheesy grin, as he always has a way of making me blush ♥ Our life is a lot like most families. He owns his own construction business and I stay at home with all the kids making candles and tarts to sell online for x-tra cash. We have 5 boys ages 13,12,10,8 and 2. They are the "life of party" in all situations and sometimes make me want to scream! I blog for sanity and make candles to release to stress..*chuckles softly*

















Poor kids would probably kill me for posting this one..as they "said" they were to big to play in the kiddy pool..haha!



Everyday is different in The Clack House. And I love it. Everyone always asks "How do you do it with five boys?" And I just reply.."Live, learn and laugh" it's the only way.. =)
